Scope: Design and install chipper unloading, washing and storing line within an empty potato storage facility.
Challenges: Integrating new process equipment within an existing storage building, coordinating new utilities and drainage systems.
Results: Peak supported the design and integration of a new potato washing and storage process within an existing potato storage building. The project focused on improving raw product handling, washing efficiency, storage capabilities, and overall operational flow while maximizing use of the existing facility infrastructure. New washing equipment was installed allowing soil and debris removal with older equipment integrated to allow for minimal operational involvement. Automated controls and interlocks were designed for safety awareness.
