Pilot Plant - New Process Design

Scope: Our engineering team supported the redesign of an existing pilot plant facility to incorporate new process technologies for testing and development of formed product innovations. The project focused on integrating new processing equipment, improving operational flexibility, and supporting research and product development activities within the pilot-scale environment. 

Challenges: Integrating new process equipment into an existing pilot plant footprint with limited available space. Maintaining operational flexibility to support a wide range of future product innovation trials and the modular design approach. Coordinating automation and controls integration for unfamiliar equipment and process technologies.

Results: Successfully redesigned the pilot plant to support formed product innovation testing and development. Integrated new processing equipment and supporting systems within the existing facility infrastructure. Delivered a scalable pilot plant configuration capable of supporting ongoing innovation and process evaluation activities
