Scope: Our team was engaged as an independent third-party engineering consultant to assess the construction phase progress of a large industrial project experiencing schedule and execution concerns. The objective of the assessment was to provide an unbiased evaluation of current field activities, identify causes of schedule slippage, and develop practical recommendations to support project recovery and successful completion.
Challenges: Construction progress differed significantly from reported schedule status, existing schedule recovery plans lacked alignment with actual field conditions.
Results: Peak team provided lead project management recommendations regarding construction sequencing, resource allocation, outstanding risks, and priority actions required to improve execution performance. A detailed report focused on measurable and attainable actions that prioritized critical path risks which were contributing to ongoing schedule delays.
