Year: 2022/23
Scope: Peak team supported the conversion of an existing potato processing line into a new formed co-product production line as part of a major plant expansion and modernization initiative. The project involved significant process reconfiguration, building expansion, demolition of existing infrastructure, and relocation of existing equipment to accommodate the new production line and supporting systems.
Challenges: Integrating a new formed co-product line into an operating facility with limited available space. Coordinating equipment integration between existing and new processing systems. Supporting construction sequencing and installation activities within tight outage and production schedules.
Results: Delivered engineering leadership and coordination support from concept development through construction and startup execution. Successfully lead the design team to convert the existing processing area into a modern formed co-product production line. Developed detailed equipment layout designs with full integration of drying, forming, frying and freezing equipment.
